We are very fortunate in the Border Rivers region to have the rare combination of fertile soils, a moderate climate and the water resources available to grow abundant natural produce all year round. With a high standard of management practices, we also have maintained a healthy environment, the healthiest 'working river' in the Murray Darling Basin. (MDBC Sustainable Rivers Audit, May 2008). The Border Rivers is the most sustainable valley of any in the Murray Darling Basin.

Continued responsible and sustainable use of our water resources is vital for our community's future.
